Can I bring my kids along for the ride?

Yes! We’ve had kids as young as 3 throwing discs with us and we love seeing how excited they get! As far as courses go, Bijou Disc Course in South Lake is the most stroller-friendly — some of the others have steep inclines and uneven terrain.

I don’t own any equipment — can you recommend where to buy discs or do you loan them?

We have a fully-stocked inventory of our own to loan you through our time together, but if you’re keen to continue the sport (and we hope you are!), we recommend Tahoe Sports LTD here in South Lake Tahoe (next to the raley’s shopping center) to pick up some shiny new discs from. The staff there are super helpful, and friendly,

There’s a big group of us — can you accommodate us?

Yes! We take larger groups for bachelor parties and birthdays. to accommodate you fully we need advance notice. call us for a custom quote.

What do I need to wear or bring with me?

We get all the weather in Tahoe! generally speaking, we recommend the following:

Summer: decent hiking shoes, water (LOTs of it), a hat, sunscreen.

Winter: decent hiking shoes, water, warm clothing or a jacket.

HOT SUN AND DRY AIR CAN PROVE TROUBLESOME TO SENSITIVE TYPES. PLEASE BRING THE NECESSARY PROTECTIVE GEAR AND ALWAYS, ALWAYS, LOTS OF WATER!

Do you play year-round?

If the course is accessible - yes! If there’s snow on the ground, then likely no. Nobody needs to be hunting for a disc that’s buried under 4 feet of snow. We can recommend heading to a course in the nevada valley if it’s snowing at the lake and clear down there.

Is Disc Golf a safe sport?

WE CONSIDER THE SPORT OF DISC GOLF TO BE VERY MUCH ON THE SAFE SIDE COMPARED TO SAY, BUNGEE JUMPING OR SWIMMING WITH SHARKS, BUT INJURIES FROM FLYING DISCS OR A FALL ON ROCKS HAVE BEEN RECORDED. WE WILL ASK YOU TO SIGN OUR LIABILITY WAIVER BUT WILL DO EVERYTHING IN OUR POWER TO SHIELD YOU FROM OBSTACLES!
